What's in v0.3
Four-lane track
Race against three CPU beetles โ Grub, Dot, and Cricket โ each with a slightly different pace and wobble.
Tap or Space to sprint
Rapid taps accelerate your beetle; velocity decays between presses so rhythm matters more than raw speed.
Best-time memory
Your personal best is saved in the browser and displayed on the track. No account required, no data leaves your device.
Local leaderboard
Winning times are posted to a shared leaderboard stored in localStorage โ useful in shared-browser settings like a museum kiosk or a kitchen laptop.
Touch-friendly
Works on phones and tablets. Tap anywhere on the track area to sprint โ no buttons to fumble with mid-race.
Zero dependencies
The whole game is vanilla JS and CSS. It loads in one request and runs offline once cached.
